Dr. Amin Kanani is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Medicine at the University of British Columbia and an attending physician in the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology at St. Paul’s Hospital.

He graduated from McGill University School of Medicine. He then did his residency in Internal Medicine at UBC and his fellowship in Clinical Immunology and Allergy at the University of Toronto.

Dr. Kanani is the Past-President of the BC Society of Allergy and Immunology. He has a clinical practice in Vancouver and Surrey. His clinical and research interests include allergic rhinitis, anaphylaxis, chronic urticaria and hereditary angioedema.

Dr. Siobhan Perkins is a Clinical Instructor at the UBC Department of Medicine, Division of Allergy and Immunology. She attained her medical degree at the University of the West Indies, Trinidad & Tobago.

She completed her internal medicine residency at University of Alberta and Clinical Immunology and allergy fellowship at McGill University. Dr. Siobhan Perkins is the current vice president of the BC Society of Allergy and Immunology.

Her areas of interest include chronic urticaria, drug allergy, venom allergy and food allergy.

Pediatric Allergy

Zaynah is our vibrant clinic manager at the Surrey Allergy Clinic. She is a certified medical assistant since 2008 and has extensive experience managing various clinics. As our office manager, Zaynah has always had a passion for helping others and making them feel as comfortable as possible and her spunky personality makes a great front line addition.

Marie is our medical office Assistant at the Surrey Allergy Clinic. She has been working in the medical field for 3 years, focusing on checking in patients, booking appointments, and answering phone calls. Marie always had a love for things that were neat and orderly, yet loves the morning rush in the office. Being a true Libra, she has balanced her interests of a tightly run office with her love for technology.
